Below Deck Sailing Yacht S3:E17 All Roads Lead to Gaisy Recap

This is is! The very last episode of the third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht! I’ve occasionally had issues finishing a series; I was worried BDSY was going to be one but NO! We done! Let’s find out what happens on the very last episode of this year of our lord two thousand and twenty two; rolling into my recap of Below Deck Sailing Yacht S3:E17 All Roads Lead To Gaisy after the break! I may even throw a little Reunion action in there.

This will also be the last time I getta see chef Marcos Spaziani’s amazing cooking, aww. His work is fantastic and I will miss him awfully. I’m doing Below Deck Down Under and let’s just say…different universe, chef-wise.

We’re at a wedding! Our Primary Charter Guest is Laura Daly, her husband is Matt Zimmermann, their friend Allegra Gray is being married to Gabe LastNameUnknown by Captain Glenn Shephard. Chief steward Daisy Keliher caught Allegra’s bouquet, prompting First Mate Gary King to run into the water screaming that he wouldn’t marry her.

I mean.

Everyone heads back to supersailingyacht Parsifall III for the reception, which…isn’t ready. Junior steward Ashley Marti is running very far behind, calling other junior steward Scarlett Bentley for assistance.

They’ve all made out with Gary! All of them!

Ashley spies the tender enroute and rushes to find champagne glasses, and by that I mean every moves very very slowly looking for flutes.

But they make it just in time! Suddenly I see how amazing it would be to get married on a yacht, handfuls of dried flowers mixed with rice are everywhere and it’s just…lovely.

I am never getting married again ever anyway so I can just enjoy this.

Marcos has an extremely fancy dinner planned for this wedding reception, included domed food filled with piped-in smoke.

I mean. This guy isn’t just some chef, you know?

Several courses later and a wedding cake later; the guests are super impressed and Marcos would just like to sleep now.

This is the last night on charter of the whole season; everyone’s minds are on the last night out tomorrow. Will Gary cause a fuss? Will he get up to shenanigans? Chief Engineer Colin MacRae thinks Daisy has pulled ahead of every other woman on the ship, watch this space!

Gary has shared at least saliva with every woman on the boat save his deckhand Kelsie Golgia and even she gave him a foot massage. She’s on nights as she has been most of the season as deckhand Barnaby Birkbeck was being a giant baby about working when the guests aren’t awake.

The next morning is an early one and there’s good news already! Marcos’ business partner has found an investor who wants to back a restaurant, I would 100% go to your restaurant, Marcos! I wouldn’t even be creepy about it!

Breakfast is at 10:30, the guests are able to grill Daisy lightly about who she’s going to marry. Gary? Barnaby? But he’s only 23 so nerpppp.

In no time at all we are at guest departure; Primary Laura thanks everyone but really I’m giving all her praise to Marcos. She is a celiac and there were several other restrictions he needed to work around and he still knocked it out of the park.

Primary Laura hands over a giant bottle of champagne and a tip envelope; do we want to guess?? I’m going to say…$18,000 USD based on the food but also giant bottle of champagne.

Captain Glenn gives a speech thanking everyone for their service; Daisy follows that by promoting Ashley to Lead Steward, which will make a difference on her resume, anyway.

Okay, the tip is $20,000 USD, wooooo, bringing the season total to $160,500, that’s awesome!

Marcos reflects on the season past, smudging the kitchen hahaha. Okay!

Time to go out, everyone gets fancy! I don’t understand Daisy’s sequinned pants, though, not even a little. Captain Glenn shows up for dinner and shots; it’s a nice group. So far.

Gary asks everyone for their highs and lows of the season; Daisy is his high and the awful tip is his low. Colin’s high is the wrestling with his roomies, it did look like a lot of fun.

Kelsie’s high is winning the first Seaman’s Cup; Daisy’s is the wedding: she may even believe in love now!

Gary, Marcos, Colin and Scarlett end up in the water version of a food fight in their taxi, it’s going to be a super fun night.

Colin gets out his guitar and plays music for the hot tub peeps while Ashley makes so many grilled cheese sandwiches. SO.MANY.

At 3:00 am Daisy and Gary are in negotiations for sex but she takes off before he can figure out where they’re banging. He ends up carrying her to her bed and being interrupted by Kelsie.

I don’t know why I like watching the guys hit each other and laugh hysterically! So much!

Captain Glenn wakes up the next morning to a huge mess in the galley thanks to Ashley; he tells everyone to pack up and GTFO. After cleaning up the galley, which is disgusting.

Barnaby is the first to leave; he luuuuurves Daisy awww. Scarlett is next, Gary walks her out as he should. She felt a connection with him but sensed his huge need for drama which she does not share.

Ashley is next to pull the plug, she’s more emotional than the first two, crying her way through all her goodbyes.

She’s proud of herself and she should be!

Apparently she’s on OnlyFans now if you’re missing her!

Kelsie has learned that she doesn’t want to be in the superyachting industry, all done, deuces!

Marcos is off to LA next, I love him so much! So does Gary, it’s like a new family for him and definitely brothers from other mothers in Colin and Gary.

Only the last season’s four are left, Colin hits the road after Marcos and I sincerely hope he’ll be back again the following year.

Will Daisy and Gary leave together?

He keeps her company while she packs; she doesn’t think they should hang out together too much because

Gary: ‘fall in love?’

Daisy: not like each other any more.

Some nice hugs on dock, though! Gary is last on the ship with Captain Glenn, draining the grossly murky hot tub.

Until next season, cheers everyone! Thank you so much for reading along. I’m throwing in my thoughts on the reunion, for what it’s worth:

– Gary is staying with Daisy in London??

– Captain Glenn Shepherd is actually Captain Glenn Shephard??? Mannnnnnnn I have so many recaps to fix

– Oh no, Gabriele Barragan is GabrielA Barragan?? So many more fixes.

Where did I get this information anyway??

– Ohhhh Ashley is a no-show. 100% she blames the edit. Deckhand Tom Pearson said she ‘didn’t need this in her life’

– Waaaaahat – Gabriela and Wes O’Dell from Below Deck are dating and in love? Awwww. I always liked him, so chill

– Colin went public with his girlfriend Sylvia just in time to break up with her

– Marcos is joining the reunion from his car in LA in Koreatown.

– There is too much talk about Gary’s penis

– Tom has a lot to pre-explain to his parents

– More talk about Gary’s penis

– So much Gary

– Gary doesn’t think he was sexually assaulted by Ashley; apparently the viewers also thought it was a double standard as I did

– All the men think Daisy has a thing for Gary; everyone but Daisy thinks Gary has a thing for her

– It is cute when Gary refuses to vote on whether or not he and Daisy will bang but votes a strong YES on whether they will make love awwww hahaha

– Why are we talking about Gary so much??

– Tom seems to have come a long way in a short period, good on ya, mate!

– Gabriela was completely undermined by Ashley constantly, if she wasn’t targeted by Ashley, she wouldn’t have left. I personally agree with Daisy that it wasn’t the whole enchilada, there was much more to Gabriela’s decision even if she sees an easy way now

– Gabriela gets the ‘diverse’ question; it’s a completely different experience for BIPOC.

– Barnaby taught Barack Obama to surf

– Guest Erika Rose gave a horrible tip; apparently they apologized on social media

– There’s only one person Captain Glenn wouldn’t work with again: Ashley

– Barnaby is doing something weird with cars; Colin is on a catamaran sailing around the world and everyone else is still in yachting.

Gnight!! TTM oot
